Megasolis Renewables Private Limited (MRPL IST 1 )operates a 250 MW plant installed within a total available capacity of 362.00 MW located in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, one of India’s most prominent regions for solar energy development. The project spans approximately 1,343 acres of land and has been developed to harness the region’s high solar irradiation and favorable climatic conditions for large-scale renewable power generation.

One of the key distinguishing features of this project is that it is the first in India to implement cluster sizing of 12.5 MWp, an approach that enables optimized plant design, efficient power generation, and streamlined operations across the solar facility. This innovative configuration helps enhance operational efficiency while allowing better monitoring and management of the plant’s performance.

The ISTS–1 solar plant has been operational since May 2021 and supplies electricity to the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). Through this long-term agreement, the project contributes to the reliable supply of renewable energy while supporting India’s national targets for expanding non-fossil fuel-based power generation.
