Sustainability Driving Long-Term Value

Sustainability Driving Long-Term Value

Sustainability is central to how infrastructure is selected, managed, and scaled, shaping resilience, performance, and long-term returns.

As the global energy transition accelerates, the ability to develop and operate renewable energy assets efficiently, responsibly, and at scale is becoming a defining factor for success. A strong sustainability approach enhances asset performance, strengthens risk management, and supports consistent value creation.

Our Approach

Sustainability is embedded across the full lifecycle of infrastructure investments, from acquisition to long-term asset management.

Integration Across the Investment Lifecycle

Our Approach

Strategic Sustainability Priorities

The approach is anchored in three priorities that reflect sector realities and long-term value drivers

Climate Action &
Energy Transition

Scaling renewable energy generation while strengthening climate resilience.

  • 1.54 GWp installed capacity
  • 2,457 GWh clean electricity generated
  • Contribution to grid decarbonization

Operational Excellence &
Resource Efficiency

Maximizing performance while optimizing resource use.

  • ISO-certified operations across environment (ISO 14001:2015), health & safety (ISO 45001:2018), and information security (ISO/IEC 2700:2022)
  • Driving operational efficiency through resource optimization and continuous performance monitoring
  • 216,000+ KL water harvested through Rainwater Harvesting System
  • Focus on waste management and circular practices

People, Safety &
Community Value

Ensuring safe operations and meaningful local impact.

  • Strong safety performance with zero fatalities
  • Structured workforce safety systems and training
  • Community programmes in education and women empowerment
  • Inclusive workforce with growing diversity

Governance and Accountability

Strong governance underpins sustainability performance and ensures accountability across all levels.

Governance and Accountability

Focus Areas Going Forward

As our portfolio continues to grow, we will focus on the following sustainability priorities, while continuing to evolve other areas in line with business needs.

Focus Areas Going Forward
  • Scaling renewable energy capacity
  • Enhancing asset efficiency and reliability
  • Strengthening climate resilience
  • Advancing responsible supply chain practices
  • Deepening community engagement

Water Management

01

Water consumption is systematically monitored across SEIT’s facilities, primarily used for solar panel cleaning and domestic needs at operational sites and offices.

02

We are a Water Positive trust, wherein we saved 2,16,336.55 KL water through rainwater harvesting, recharged structure, and water efficiency initiatives.

03

Total water withdrawal in FY 2024-25 was approximately 81,944.77 KL, responsibly sourced from surface water, groundwater, municipality pipelines, and tankers.

04

There is no industrial effluent generated from our solar operations, and domestic wastewater is safely managed through septic tanks.

05

Furthermore, we have Implemented predictive maintenance systems and robotic dry-cleaning of solar panels, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and resource conservation at solar facilities
